Katy - Christening Gown
I recently had the privilege of transforming a ladies treasured wedding dress into this christening gown for her new baby girl.
I took the fabric from the train of the wedding dress in order to make this beautiful and sentimental Christening gown, carefully removing all the trains embellishment’s in order to hand apply them onto the Christening gown once it was constructed.
The bodice features pleat work detail, a design detail that the wedding dress also possessed. The client was able to choose not only the style of christening gown, but also the lace and crystal embellishment detail, opting for a beautiful classic design using the same lace and beads that once adorned her wedding dress.

Rachel – from Wedding Dress to Cocktail Dress
The wedding dress was not lost, with careful treatment, I was able to remove some of the lace and bead work from the dress. I restyled the skirt, taking it in and shortening it so that a treasured dress could be re worn and gather more happy memories of cocktail parties.
